Big Sky Project was co-founded by Carrie Ellmore-Tallitsch

and  Blakeley White-McGuire,  in which we debuted a collection of our own performing art works

at Jacob's Pillow Inside/Out.  Since then, Big Sky Project's vision has expanded, with its roots and interest in the healing powers of the indigenous arts, the

natural world, and the healing of the earth and all its creatures through thought provoking multi-media projects, workshops, education, and environmental initiatives  to create awareness within the community.  

.......Our newest mission:  Grassroots community fellowship.  Gathering community and all of the resources and skills available for barter, thus creating commerce, self-sufficiency, and art with in a village.  One project and location at a time, Big Sky’s mission is to initiate the healing of the environment in which we all live, through imaginative, innovative, experimental, artistic, and inspired philosophy..........

 

Big Sky Project is located in Jersey City, New Jersey.   We are currently working to find a space to have an organic community garden to provide locally grown food, encourage self-sufficiency, sustainability, education, and resourceful urban living.  Please check our “New Projects” page for more information and updates.
